I just bought one of thee on ebay for about $80

I find it is a great little power amp for when the rig has to travel.
Note that most times there is a power amp on site, but it is part of the installed system. At times it is much easier to have your own power amp where you want it.

See .pdf on specs, but one of its best “Features” is that it is a typical analog amp.

No digital artifacts such as delay in the highs etc.

Also a model with twice the power.

Hi Tom,

I can barely remember the Stewart brand and where I used it.
That said I have a bad feeling about the Stewart brand. Are they DJ stuff?

What I wanted was a mono amp with a single volume knob in the front. Perfect for running tests where the volume control is right in front next to the laptop.
I have only a couple of months using the Jamco and I like it.

Just looking at the box it is pretty solid.
I have not looked inside yet, but it would be nice if it was mosfet. Not a deal breaker, but I can always hope.
The amp sounds good even when pushed.
There are some home audio power amps that are mono, but none have a volume knob out front and they cost more.
