+1 I stood on the little one and found it was pretty robust.

Already mentioned but I think the best solution is a road case. Cable trunk perhaps?

The drawback with that plan is that Murphy's Law dictates that you will need a cable out of the trunk underneath your mixer at some inopportune moment.

For smaller shows we use some USW subs. The cases for the subs are ideal for holding a small desk with enough space for a laptop beside it. The bonus from a workflow point of view is that the subs are put in place fairly early on, and don't necessarily need to go back into their cases until near the end of the tear down.

This is an if and a big if....if you have any cases with removable lids/fronts or backs that would make a table the size you need get some folding legs and put them on the inside of the lid. Another if....if there would be clearance inside for the legs. I have seen merchandise cases with that kind of lid becomes table design.

The folding Quick Lok legs I have seen always feel wobbly.

A friend of mine has a couple of these and I have to say the quality is outstanding. Slant top, plenty of space and a sturdy table built in that works as advertised. Even the price is right.

Watched a show and the guy had an o1v on top of some EAW subs. Worked perfect for him
