usb dmx pro under Linux or??
« on: October 24, 2008, 11:32:12 pm »

I am looking for a DMX adapter for use with a laptop.  I am ok with USB or Ethernet.  I MUCH prefer to use it on Linux.  I hope to have access to the interface via command line so I can make custom scripts.  A reasonable open source GUI program would be nice as well.  I have been searching google but have not found any thing that says "this is it"

The usb dmx pro apears to be a decent unit.  The Lanbox would also be nice but out of my price range.  FYI I plan on "real" controller, this is just for fun and a secondary controller.

Any experience with DMX and linux?
