I am looking for 40 ea. (specifically) Philips 500 watt 120 volt nsp Par 56 for an install. I have looked most of the obvious places. Anyone?

Why do they have to be that brand?

While specified candlepower and beam angle for the lamp is mid-range compared to other brands - given a fairly narrow variation, the rest in specifications are fairly simlar.

500 PAR56 Q / NSP   Philips #35619-6   PAR 56, Quartz NSP (17̊x 34̊ Ba)   500 w   PAR56   cc-6   MOL 5"   Mgl E-Prg   (CRI 100) Keep Dry, Use Screen, Any Burn Pos.   2,950̊K   88,000C/3500L   4,000

If alternate off the shelf brands are not acceptable, any supplier of lamps should be able to special order them.  Not a very popular lamp on the shelf but most should be able to get them.  Doubt many if any stock them but most can special order them.
