I'm sure you've seen those videos on Youtube... awesome stuff! I don't plan to go there.

But I did just make some bullets for my 2" potato cannon that are plastic end-caps for paper rolls, filled with sand and sealed with silicone. I hope to test them this week. I would bet they cause some damage, although a piece of rack gear would require several shots. Anyone wants to bring the beer and the target, I'll supply the cannon and ammo... could be a fun afternoon and provide some excellent Youtube material!

Soak it in kerosene/lighter fluid and make it go boom?

We always throw our outdated-and-irreparable gear off of the roof onto the parking lot asphalt.  Usually, whatever-it-is just blows apart into pieces.
