Help with chat link

I can't figure this out.   Crying or Very Sad
New laptop.. (Toshiba Satellite/Vista).. chat worked just fine last Sunday.. Trying it now I get a "connection in progress...connection failed" prompt. Mad


Any hints on how to get it working again?

p.s. I'm using the Java link to the chat.

Just tried again twice, with the same result: "connection in progress...connection failed"

It's really bugging me because it worked just fine before.

The only difference between last time and this time is:

Last time I was in L.A. and connected through the hotel's wireless network.

Tonight I am home. DSL to Westel wireless router.
