Some more Lab12 driver Silliness

     Hi all finally got this quad sealed Lab12 cab together,  A little Bass/Keyboard etc. rig I threw together.

    I Gots your 20Hz - 20kHz right here anyhow.

    110dB of home stereo/ monitoring bliss  (well greater than 118dB @ 20Hz).

    Always nice to have extra headroom in the sub region.

Did you find reversing the cones made your cabinets any cleaner with the Lab 12"?

    I haven't done the definative test yet.  But I built my friend

    A sealed Dual Lab 12 with the push pull drivers.  I will do some comparisons VS my Quad Lab 12

    I guess for accurate comparison the 4 will have to be driven at the same wattage per pair as the dual or 3dB more power and 3dB more sensitivity.

    So in theory, Dual 12 box should have less distortion measurably than the Quad 12.

    From what I hear so far yes the push pull subs are cleaner.  Almost too clean for some applications and excellent for others.

    I love em for 5 string Bass with the appropriate LF EQ SMOOTH!!
