I found Northern Sound&Lights in Mckees Rocks, near downtown PGH.  They are a horizon dealer. They had exactly what I wanted at a fair price.  This is what I meant by "Pro-audio grade"

14-2 for $.51/foot.
Not having to pay shipping= priceless.

So... you don't actually know what you paid for the cable and what you paid for the shipping... cause it's all inclusive... or something like that.

I personally would prefer if the tip is not included in the menu price of the meal.  Simmilarly: I'd prefer to not pay some portion of zone 8 UPS shipping for a product sent to some other customer when I'm UPS zone 3 from the supply house.

Usually, there is no free lunch.

Home Depot sells 150' rolls of 14-2 for $66 dollars, It's not quite as soft a cable but its black, round, and only $.44/foot....you have to buy a whole roll thought. It's rubber coating is slightly thicker too.

So you bought the cable locally?  Only paying sales tax and the cost of commuting to the store in additon to the sticker price?

I'm still not sure what you mean by "Pro-audio grade". Do mean that "Audio Commercial Series" is printed on the jacket of the cable, or is there some attribute of the actual cable that makes it "Pro-audio grade"? With the right sized order, you can get whatever you want printed on the jacket.
