Mac,
I did not see this before. I belly laughed over this. Unfortunately, too true.

Client at end of gig: "OK ... time to settle up. Now I coudn't help but notice that you have trunks full of unused cable behind the drum kit. You appear to have quite a bit of unused gaffers tape. And there were 3 channels of gates and 1 stereo reverb that you didn't use at FOH. The down-fill modules in the left and right line arrays were run at lower gain. The monitor guy only used one of two ear-cups on his Clearcom headset. And 4 of the Atlas stands had scuff marks on their round bases. I believe you have enough battery juice in the RF mic's to do at least one other show. Finally; I noticed that you struck and loaded out in 1/3 the time it took to set up. So let's calculate what these are worth and deduct them from the rental price. OK ? We can make this work. No, really. Hey ! Stop looking at my wife's ass, would ya ?"
(well worth re-posting this, Mac)
