Multiple video
« on: August 01, 2008, 08:49:09 AM »

Hello,

I would like to play 3 syncronized mpeg2 movies off of one computer for an art presentation. Video is 1024*768. Does anyone know who makes such hardware and software?

Thanks
Oren

Are they going to be going out to 3 different displays/projectors?  Or are you wanting to play them through 1 display (tiled, etc)?

MedeaWiz DV-68  If you need frame level sync, a small Crestron and AMX package will do the job well. If you just need a go and restart, then the DV-68 with the DV-66 kit will work as well.  Just "y" all the controllers to a single Push Button.  This will start your MPEG-2 movies with audio as needed.

You'd need a Mac to run it, but QLab is a great program.  The free version is audio only, but if you purchase the video license, it turns into a pretty wicked video playback system.

Here's their website: http://figure53.com/qlab/
