Installation DMX Cable
« on: July 23, 2008, 12:36:22 PM »

Looking for installation DMX Cable, single pair with ground.

I called gepco and they told me one of their cables with 110ohm is the normal one they sell for this...

DMX has always been 120ohm for me... but we're looking for installation cable/riser cable version of this... not rubber jacketed...

Will 110ohm work? Or what cable do you guys use?

DMX is 110 ohm by spec. You can use SHIELDED cat5 cable for installations with no problem. I know a high level lighting company that does this.
