Question about Spectr Audio SM15 vs EV ZX5
« on: June 16, 2008, 07:16:21 PM »

Has anyone used or heard of Spectr Audio and their SM 15 non powered cabinet? I have heard the EV ZX5 and am really impressed with the enormous coverage and volume from such a small box, but am wondering if I should give a pair of these a shot. I'm looking for a small flyable box in a configuration like this for a 250 seat venue, in an "EON-esque" configuration.

Hey Sean,

I dont know about the S. Audio but i can vouch for the ZX5. They sound great, despite being made of moulded plastic, the sound is not 'plastic like'. They look good too.

Highly recommended
