How does a picture of the FOH Desk where I work end up in an article in LSI?

I feel like they should have been able to just grab a real board and IEM and snap a picture rather than putting together a terrible photoshop.

Taylor Phillips:
No one has to credit where a picture was taken, only who took it.   If you didn't take it you have no claim on it.  If I remember correctly, the only exceptions are at ticketed events/attractions or where an invitation is required.

Edit: I'm in the USA

Wes Collingsworth:
It's not an issue of us being mad or upset that it's there... more just wondering where they got the image. It's more funny than anything. And the crappy Photoshop job on the ears makes it even better. I'm just struggling to figure out where the image came from, because it's not in a music venue but a church... just funny. And because of the labeling on the desk, we know that it's a fairly recent image too, within the last couple of months.

Just email him and let us know what he says.

Hi Wes,
I wrote the article, but the guys at LSI added the picture. And yes, it's a pretty crappy Photoshop job. Had I known they wanted a picture when they pulled the original article to post here, I would have taken one myself. I assumed the photo was stock; honestly I don't know where they got it.

I know that doesn't help you figure it out, but you could try to get in touch with Kyle Snyder at LSI. He might have some insight into where the photo came from.

Best!
