What LED has the most diffuse pattern?

I'm only looking to highlight (wash) a small area or two.  As these areas are a relatively short distance (less that 15 feet), I want to avoid seeing the LED patterns. DMX control is required, though.

Interestingly, about 5 minutes ago I posted in another thread about the Chauvet Colorsplash 196. At a 5-ft range they would not show any bulb-pattern. There are other similar fixtures out there would likely perform as well at a lower cost.
Nice range of colors, too.
