case for the soundcraft impact si
« on: March 19, 2016, 09:24:21 am »

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what road case is best for the impact si?
I was hoping to find a rackmount with some type of ability to accept a the mixer case on top or even have an all in one unit.

I am trying to stay away from the 3 gazillion pounds double wide racks.

Thanks in advance.

The Impact is wider than 19" so anything wide enough to hold it is going to have wasted space in a rack section.  My Expression 2 is heavy enough in a 3/8" road case that I don't want anything else with it.

But if its two separate case then maybe it isn't needed to have support under the whole mixer if the case for the mixer is solid enough.

Haven't seen an all-in-one type of case for the Impact.  Sweetwater was bundling a suitcase-style Gator case (wheels & handle) in a recent promotion.  That looked pretty handy.
