looking to buy a good fiber termination kit. I have seen prices from $199 to $2000.

What brand of fiber and ends are you using? ST? LC ends? multi-mode?single mode? 62.5micron or 50micron?  The kit you get depends on multiple factors.  I am supplied with corning fiber and ends, so I use a corning kit. I think the kit my company gives me is about $800.
