All of them and none of them.

How are you planning to use them?  Why are Watts your sole metric?

What Tim's saying is that a power rating as the sole specification for question involving a complete sound system and audience is not the way to figure out what is needed in your situation.

What does your current FOH speaker system consist of?  What kind and how many power amps are you using?  How many will you be able to add?

Are you planning to expand the top cabinets in this subwoofer expansion as well?  How many people are you trying to provide sound for, and what type of events?

And don't be put off by curt answers-questions like yours appear here almost daily, and you need to realize a bit of a thick skin is needed.

Best regards,

John

Just to add-the wattage is a pretty much worthless statement.

Here are the things you need to be interested in-How LOW do you need to go?  Be realistic.  How LOUD does it need to be?  What physical SIZE are you willing to accept?  How much MONEY do you have?

It is not about outdoor or indoors-but rather the above parameters.

Once you define them-you can begin the journey to choosing loudspeakers that best fit your needs.

If you do not identify the above parameters-the answers you get will be pretty much worthless-as far as fitting your needs.

But not necessarily worthless to someone willing to sell you something they call 2,000W subs without having to worry about them meeting any defined goals.  From their perspective the best brand might be the one that nets them a sale with the greatest profit.

And that answers the question that should ALWAYS be asked of any gig-install etc.  "What are we here to do".

And if the answer is "To sell a sub to somebody where I can make the most profit", then providing them with exactly that would be the thing they are there to do.

Make money to take the wife out-Mission accomplished!
