Title: Al's Yorkville Elite EF-12P active speaker review
Post by: Al Poulin on April 16, 2018, 04:36:49 PM
Hey guys,

I rented the new Yorkville EF-12Ps for a month and got to try them on a few different gigs. Here is my review for you (from a DJ's / occasional sound guy's point of view). Nothing too fancy or technical evaluation Wise other than my ears, but hopefully my video will at least provide some useful information for yous :

Thanks for the review Al.   I've been pondering replacing my EF500p to reduce weight and have looked at these. Interesting that the Limit (Process) light still comes on early. I do believe as you mentioned it comes on with just the start of processing and doesn't greatly effect output for some time. 10db's or so with my EF500p's. Mine are 11 years old and still keep going. I hope these are just as tough and sound roughly the same.   I fly mine from time to time by the top fly ware. Is there still the 2 top fly ware points? I like this as it only requires 2 points to fly them level.
