Does anyone know the difference between the JBL VRX 932 and the 932-1? I am seeing some used 932's for sale. Just curious if there is a big difference or these would play well with the 932-1's.

The rigging is improved on the 1 version. As I recall there are some other small changes - drivers or crossover - cant remember, but nothing major.

Thanks for the reply Tom. Any reason the 932 and the "1" version wouldn't play well together?

As far as I know they can be used together. You might want to put the old ones on one side and the new ones on the other.

They use different horn drivers. The horn driver was changed in the -1 version to use the same horn driver as some other boxes. If you run them passively you can mix them. If you bi-amp them they use different processor settings. You can mix them as long as you process them differently.
