This is a person or persons that are taking advantage of the uninformed and uneducated. Time to reach out and bitch slap these assholes. This isn't even comical, just wrong in every way possible.

Got to their website coconut-audio.com
to view their entire line of products.

Funny, there is no "About Us" on the site, nor country of origin.

They must be very confident of their products, as there is no technical support contact; only an e-mail address for ordering.

...and what is the "best practice" for  winding up a solid core multi-conductor cable, anyway?

There's some info, the page Ivan linked to is not the front door.  Still, not a lot of real info, and certainly the BS is of the highest quality.

They appear to be Swedish scam artists.

This page may take the award though, they have a "Customer of the Year Award", with names and quantities given:

http://www.coconut-audio.com/customer.htm

Anybody know any of these "customers" ?    ;>)

Best regards,

John

The conmen who are running this scam should be flogged with their own product; let's start with whichever one is likely to inflict the most memorable session.   ::)

A 30 year payoff plan. This guy needs a punch in the fucking head. I may order one just to bring this guy out into the open.

"It is recommended to use the 90% discount for VibraPortal Athena ($4,995) and pay $500. And the 30 year payment plan will be used for our most expensive products, like the Ice King Power cable ($50,000) where you pay $139 per month for 30 years."

Vibraportal?? Bend over and get ready for the vibraportal is more like it.

Because everyone knows that super-high-quality wires are used inside the walls of your house all the way back to Bonneville Dam, and the people who sell audio equipment just throw in a cheap Chinese cord made with an alloy of vanadium zinc and aluminum smelter slag with a few gum wrappers thrown in for good measure.

Bob-you are missing the whole point.  At least he is expecting the product to last 30yrs, AND he is planning on not "skipping the country (whichever one that is) with your money.

Of course-after the first payment he is well into the "black" so no big deal if the payments stop.

There is an acquaintance of mine, a former studio owner, who believes in the "skin effect" of cabling and brings speaker and IEC cables that you could tow a car with to gigs for his guitar amps. When asked why my friends in pro audio didn't use them, his answer is, "because you're idiots". He doesn't have the $50,000 cables but I bet he spent $3-4,000 on the cables FOR HIS GUITAR AMP!!.

"If you believe it, it's not a lie."

....George Costanza

"We use a complex array of resonant frequencies to filter out noise from the audio system by using 100% efficient natural minerals.

A resonant frequency is a natural frequency of vibration determined by the physical parameters of the vibrating object. It is easy to get an object to vibrate at its resonant frequencies, hard to get it to vibrate at other frequencies. A vibrating object will pick out its resonant frequencies from a complex excitation and vibrate at those frequencies, essentially "filtering out" other frequencies present in the excitation.

In other words, placing our product touching the audio chassis, will enhance the music frequencies and leave the noise behind.

To do this, we use a mixture of quartz crystals, ore, minerals and powders. Some of these formulas were fine-tuned by ear to 0.01 gram accuracy using months of critical listening."

You now I could come up with a product that would eliminate feedback... wait, someone beat me to it... its called a DJ

...and all done in the best possible humour! My favourite 'bad ad'  is the 'less loss blackbody - money in toilet' a lovely mix of bad taste and sick humour! Oh, and the 'terms & conditions' - I've seen real ones which are almost as bad!

I've invented a toilet seat equipped with resonant magnets made of a special polymerized ferric minerals developed after years of intense study that I'd like to sell you. I guarantee it will make your bathroom smell better AND keep you in tune when making that special music.
