Title: please help identify eiki lens
Post by: ThomasA(lbenberger) on February 12, 2013, 06:37:31 AM
hello!

please help me identify the lenses that came with my two ancient eiki lc-x1 projectors. these are standard motorized zoom lenses that measure approx. 9cm in diameter at the part that inserts into the projector.

there is no labeling to be found, except for a print that says "91A" on one of the two lenses. the other lens, somebody marked "E 522" with a sharpie.

i am mostly interested in whether they fit any current/recent line of sanyo projectors or not, since that would greatly determine their resale value. if it helps: the eiki lc-x1 projector looks like a sanyo xf-10n.

thanks in advance for your help!

best regards, thomas

ps: if somebody needs the lenses with or without projectors, feel free to contact me via pn. i'm based in Austria/central europe, though...

Looks like the current version of that projector is the LC-XT6.

One of the lenses available for that model was the AH-21091. Longest power lens available (fills a 12' wide screen from 51'-71'). Also listed for the LC-XT6...sometimes.  The EIKI lens calculator is a little...fluky.  So no promises.  First time I checked, using a 30' distance, it gave me three options for the power lenses, none that matched.  Checked again, using a width of 12'...and got a lot more lenses, including this one.  Dunno...
