Post by: Justice C. Bigler on April 03, 2013, 07:19:58 PM
Three pallets wrapped in black arrived on our loading dock today. Underneath was:

What you don't see, in two boxes on the far side of two pallets are:

2x SM86s
2x Beta87s
2x Neumann KMS105s
2x EV RE20s
2x AKG C414 XLIIs
4x Sennheiser MD 421
2x Countryman E6 earset mics
4x Countryman DT85 DIs
4x Radial JDIs
2x Galaxy PA6S
3x Yamaha MY16-AUD cards
2x Yamaha MY4DA cards

And I have more to come still, including 3 Apple Mac Minis, 8 more Galaxy PA6S hotspot monitors, three Cisco Gigabit switches, and more Countryman E6 earset mics, and some other shit I can't remember off the top of my head.  ;D

(The feeder cable in the background is for another venue here in town that we are storing some of their stuff until they get  their occupancy permit from the Fire Marshal)

Teasing is not allowed. Please go to a corner of your warehouse, face the corner, and slap the shit out of yourself until you cry.

This shipment completes our transition away from all of our old analog consoles (we had two Soundcraft K3s and several Mackie 1604s left in service) in favor of new digital consoles in all four of our theatre spaces, and the three portable systems that we have in house.

At this point, our console inventory includes:

1 CL5 with two RIO3224D boxes
2 PM5D-RHs
1 LS9-32
1 LS9-16
and 3 01V96is

We are also replacing our 12 year old Mackie SRM430s and SWA1501 subs with the QSC K12s and KW181s.

New functionality that we are adding to each of our three smaller theatres is an Apple Mac Mini running Q-Lab, using the MY16-AUD cards and Dante Virtual Sound Card. Each of these theatres is already running some form of Meyer speakers for the main PA systems.

That's a shame that you could only afford two stagelines...  Where are the pictures?

I think we should institute a policy which states that if you mention new gear, you are required to post pics or you get banned.  8)

hahaha

well, my media servers and lighting consoles were purchased directly by me, so I've got a substantial investment in gear myself

Hello Justice, how long has the big Harrison HM-5 been gone from the big theater? I remember when they installed that many, many moons ago.

Cheers,
Doug Hammel
