Holy freaking crap!  Strung up with safeties on to a tent pole?  What?

If this were photoshopped, it would be funny.  That it exists in real life is not funny at all.  It's scary, and sad.

Please tell me this got taken down and replaced with something less stupid.....

Did you see this in person? If so, I hope you slapped the guy that put that together.

Not impressed. There should be at LESAT 4 speakers in an array. As Tim Mc. would put it, you need a line, not a dash....

(yes, joking)

The number of speakers is the LEAST of the issues here.

The truly sad thing is that I am pretty sure this is REAL.  And the "professional" who did it thinks it works just fine--------------------------------------------------------------------

I say it often-and it still applies-our industry is full of IDIOTS!  And they continue to work because the "standard" for audio is so low.

Truly sad.

This was a picture a friend of mine sent me.  I assume it is real but I was not there.

Or maybe it rained and the show got moved into the tent.  Then the squints decided to have some fun with the unused delay speakers...

Mackie posted this pic on their own facebook page a couple days ago. Even they made fun of it.

Upwards of 90% of the sheeples out in the crowd probably thought the show really sounded great.
Besides the safety issues that fact is a hard pill to swallow for a large percentage of the pro audio people.
Can you say "Yehaw!"

Well, one other challenge of this setup is that the SRM450s only have AC in. So, they have to run multiple AC lines, which could be avoided if they'd chosen a box with AC loop thrus. Or if Mackie would upgrade their SRM450s to include those loop thrus. I guess they could just put a power strip behind them, connected to those orange extension cords.
