Title: LS9: insert channel Aviom
Post by: Tim Seifert on March 14, 2014, 02:09:50 AM
I have a lingering question that stems from my lack of understanding of the Yamaha diagram in the manual. When you are using Aviom card and send insert Channel to slot, is this pre-eq or do musicians hear the eq applied to the channel?

You can't actually use an LS9 channel insert to send to a slot output - you'd use the channel direct output instead. You can choose one of several different pick-off points for the direct out, so it could be pre or post EQ depending on your needs.
