This book (https://www.amazon.com/Control-Systems-Live-Entertainment-Huntington/dp/0240809378/ref=dp_ob_title_bk?dpID=51yCfmxzKlL&preST=_SY344_BO1,204,203,200_QL70_&dpSrc=detail) is the one I used. It also covers show control.

I suppose I should have put in a disclaimer that John is friend of mine, but I would recommend this book even if he wasn't. He's also a damn good photographer, a college professor, and a storm chaser.
