Hi,
I'm currently looking at getting one of these : -
http://www.swanflight.com/allen-heath-qu-16-flightcase.html
For my QU-16.
Has anyone compared the different finishes? Like the "hexagrip", "rigid pvc", and "flightpanel"? I know flightpanel would be the lightest, but I'm just worried it'll feel a bit cheap or flimsy. There's more colours available for rigid pvc but I don't think that should be the deciding factor. I'm not too worried about a small difference in price either as it's something I'll own for a long time.
Thanks.

I've used them for 2 cases. They were great. I went with the hexagrip finish. I've never had a problem with them. I used them for an A&H GLD-112 and an A&H C1500.

While poking around on the web I found this:

I must also admit that I sometimes end up doing "goober searches" in which I find all the wrong answers to my questions. ;<)

I have two made of flightpanel.
I bought them because they were light (they are) but I would not recommend them for ordinary use unless you need the lightness.
They are a bit flimsy, but now my console and stagerack is under 30/23kg and I can fly with them.

Hmm sounds like rigid pvc or the hexagrip is the way to go..
