Title: Soundcraft si compact 24
Post by: David Frost on December 18, 2012, 03:55:04 PM
I was trying to get an ipad to work with a si compact and got the thing locked up. It will boot to 88 percent at checkpoint 14 and then locks up. I made the mistake of entering a HiQnet address of 0. Won't do that again. Have tried unpluging ect. Any suggestions? I have a call into SC but who knows when they will return the call. Thanks in advance.

iF THE HiQnet is an option card remove it. The board may be stuck looking for an IP address that will never exist. If it boots then repair the config and start over.

HiQ is not a card, simply disconnecting the Cat5 should solve it - to make it "easy", you could just power-up in config mode (press and hold the power button on boot- up for about x1o seconds) then power - down and reboot. Worst case, reinstall the firmware.

My rep support has been excellent.

Just to update this. I had to update and reload the firmware. Board and Ipad work fine now.
