The driver choice is VERY CRITICAL in a horn.

Have you modeled this?  That would be a good start.

But a couple of comment-you have way to much front volume and no expansion on the horn and lots of wasted space in the cabinet.

What are you trying to "achieve" here.  What are the design goals?

You MUST have a target in mind-then design towards that target.

hey the horn i have in mind is a eighteen sound 18LW2400 or 18LW1400 and i am researching software to model it
the concept was a folded design but with a warmer sound and smaller design what does front volume mean ?
thanks for the help

You need to read up on horn design a bit.

Why do you think those woofers are good for your "design"?

Why do you think your "design" will be warmer?

You do realize that a small horn does not go very low?

Front volume is the area right in front of the woofer-where it loads the throat of the horn.

I really don't see any "horn" in your "design".  It looks more like a plane wave tube-which offers no advantage (in a sub woofer) that I am aware of.

Maybe it's a .5hz horn?

first of all for the sake of clarity lets not call it a design but a doodle
the original intent of the first post was not to actually design a speaker but to learn some concepts i am very new at this and started to get overwhelmed by information
are there any sources you can recommend to "read up on my design"
and thanks for all the help
p.s. what would be a big woofer these are 18"

You might want to Start here (http://forum.speakerplans.com/guide-to-winisd-pro-and-hornresp_topic1314_post11070.html#11070). There's been various updates to the program since that post but if you follow the thread through there's a lot of useful info.
