Title: RCF NX 12-sma
Post by: Samuel Rees on December 11, 2013, 11:41:15 AM
Kirby Yarbrough and I are looking into the RCF NX 12-sma as possible replacement for some QSC K/KW boxes.

High output, small, light, PowerCon, good wedge angle, coax, not as expensive or heavy as microwedge / fulcrum / various high output 12" wedges.

Anyone have one of these we could listen to between Philly and Norfolk? We're in DC.

Also, any owners or users have thoughts or reviews to share?

Thanks!

We have 10 of the 12" in our inventory and have sold a ton to sound co's. everyone that has heard and used these has fell in love with the output and sonic quality. it is one you can't go wrong on...

They are popular with guitarists who use modelers, apparently due to their flat response and power.  You can search some guitar forums.

I have a pair and like them very much, but I don't do 'real loud' very often (but I barely turn them up also, they have way more power than I have ever used).  I also really like the 10s. Smaller, lighter, flat, still plenty loud.

I posted some Smaart measurements in the measurement forum a few months ago. http://forums.prosoundweb.com/index.php/topic,144875.0.html

I've heard nothing but good about these nice boxes. They are at the top of my dream list as soon as I win the lotto.

Get rid of 'coast' and Bob's your uncle.

Ya, I've been liven' outside the States for too long.
