We are in the process of moving from Countryman E6's to dpa 4066's. My problem with the E6's is when our audio guys were done, they'd disconnect the cord. So over time the connectors were giving us issues. We haven't owned dpa's before. In their packaging can you leave the cord connected with the microphone?

The cord is fixed on the 4066 and can't be removed.

If you wish to have a removable cord your options from DPA are either d:fine slim or d:fine 66.
