Has anyone had a chance to compare any of these active subs?
http://www.electrovoice.com/product.php?id=1068
http://yorkville.com/loudspeakers/elite/product/ls720p/
http://www.fbt.it/ENG/PAE/PRODOTTI/SPEAKERS/ProMaxX/ProMaxX-15/index.asp
Any ideas as to which offers the most output (real world not on paper) for miking whole bands including drums?

I did not test yorkville before so i do not know anything bout it.
EV>> do not really go low...(almost ordered it over telephone but after showroom test, i walked away.)
FBT>> Tis actually is not bad, but i personally do not really like the sound it produce.(Ermm..abit one note? but hard hitting tho).

The LiveX tops are great, but the subs lack greatly IMHO. Those are the only ones I can really speak on. If you plan on getting them, I'd expect to double up to get decent results. I'd say you wouldn't have a problem with the Yorkville's, not sure on the FBT's.
