audio for video
« on: October 25, 2007, 06:26:24 PM »

I was wondering if any of you knew if Pro Tools comes with Beat Detective when you purchase it.  I was also wondering if Beat Detective is what is used for detection of the tempo of a musical piece.  Is DV Tools necessary to have Pro Tools read in Frames instead of the standard Nano seconds in Pro Tools?

I was wondering is it really easy to transfer onto avid with a 3/4 or HD system.

i was wondering all of this because digidesign is not very helpful in answering questions.  i want to do some film work, but cant seem to find answers on the subject.
