Dave,
   I am not familiar with that particular box, however, I would suggest time-aligning each driver in the box if no factory settings exist, The DR 260 has some delay that can be adjusted in ms or ft.  Then add your driver protection/limiting.  Eq will change from space to space depending on the space's acoustic character.

That's an older model Turbosound box. I doubt they'll have dsp settings for them. You'll be best served by finding someone proficient with Smaartlive or another FFT program to help you out.

Hi Dave.

I dont know who you mailed, I dont know turbosound these days but they used to be very good at tech support. Try this dude:
email: dan.orton@turbosound.com
direct dial: +44 (0)1403 712723
fax: +44 (0)1403 710155

Btw John:
The THL-2 is still in their product range and part of the HILight series.
There should definetily be some DSP setting for that box.

Hi,
Somewhere on their FTP site there's an Excel document that offers this:

for the 15" driver:
Gain = 0dB
Polarity = +
Delay = 0.208 [ms?]
HPF = 30.1Hz, 24dB BW
LPF = 1.31kHz, 24dB LR

for the 6.5" + 1" drivers:
Gain = -5dB
Polarity = -
Delay = 0.000
HPF = 1.31kHz, 24dB LR
LPF = Out

I've recently used it [as closely as a DriveRack 480 would allow] and it sounded like the 'factory' Turbosound response that I've heard over many years. It's a starting point at least.

Dear Dave

Turbosound support fully tested DSP data for their products used with XTA, BSS and Turbosound own brand products. We are also working on settings for Lake Processors. However we don't have specific programs for DBX controllers though I would recommend you download the XL file from

ftp://ftp.turbosound.com/tech_data/controllers/

You'll want DSP V1.6 the latest version. It contains settings for all product both current and discontinued.

Also I would agree, naturally with Joachim that we are normally pretty good with Tech Support. If you have been in contact over the last week and had no luck this could be due to illness and people providing tech support to Turbosound Aspect systems out on the Festival circuit in Europe. Ordinarily if you contact Dan orton as per Joachim's mail he will get back to you with the response. Otherwise you can contact anyone in the Sales office - our emails are published on the web http://www.turbosound.com/forms/index.html - as we are all more technical than just sales, and we'll try to assist.

Customer service is a big part of our business and our reputation so I'm suprised you haven't recieved the help you need as yet. I hope this goes some way to helping you out.

If you need more PM me.

Take care
