Looks good, but 3 questions:

-What are you sing it for? 20 people in a nursing home or 1000 in a field.

-can you center cluster those subs?

-What are you using as power (amplifiers) and processing?

the system will be used outdoors and in theaters (anywhere from 200 to 1000, and i think we'd be ok...
until we get lifts for the speakers they will have to be stacked...
we're looking at an omnidrive and crest pro 200 series.

You're going to want to splay the tops at a wider angle than shown. Nice stuff, tho - should handle 1000 people pretty well if properly powered.

Yeah! In fact, what's shown is a certain amount of anti-splay, nearer to flat-front than flat-pack.

Andrew, your proposed speakers cover a 60-degree angle each. The way you should position a pair of them is with the back edges touching and the front edges separated far enough so that the 60-degree patterns blend smoothly together. Depending on the frequency you are looking at and the distance at which you are measuring, the answer will be between zero and fifteen degrees of overlap which means the total coverage per pair will be 105 to 120 degrees. I can't say exactly how many inches of separation you'll need between the front grilles--you'll be the best judge of this once you get it set up and take a hard listen.

For those 650s, pretend there's another box in between then and your splay will be just about right.

will i have enough room using those subs?
the subs laid that way are 45 inches long.
the tops are almost 20 wide on the front side.
i can see why this makes sense, when i made the sketch
i angled the inside speakers in 10 degrees, and the outside speakers out 7 degrees.
