Why Sundays? I always have a gig on Sunday. Why not Monday?

Exactly the same thing I was thinking.
For anyone having connection problems, or anyone who is mIRC retarded like me:If you don't specify a port range for the server you're trying to connect to, mIRC will default to using 6667, which seems to never work in this case. The only way I was able to connect was to specify Starlink's port range, which is 6663 to 6669, and 7001. Enter this under Options > Servers > Add > IRC Server: irc.starLink-irc.org > Port(s): 6663,6664,6665,6666,6667,6668,6669,7001. You can enter any name you want into Description, I used LAB Chat. Also, you don't need anything in Group and Password. Click OK, then click Connect To Server. After a few port attempts, you should connect on one of the ports you just specified.
After connecting, you'll then have join the prosound channel. Just type /join #prosound, then hit enter.
Also, there's a currently a problem with WinXP Service Pack 2 built in firewall. When attempting to adjust or add a server to the unblocked programs list, you won't be able to. You can't even open the general firewall settings, you'll just get a dialog box that says "Due to an identified problem..." To fix the problem
click here, don't worry it's easy. After doing so, you'll be able to add mIRC to the list of unblocked programs.
