10" bass horn

Interesting...

 http://www.billfitzmaurice.com/plans/product_info.php/produc ts_id/5

Sadly, it doesn't look like it goes too low.  I'm more interested in the design Eminence is doing for the driver.

OOPs, they recommend the Beta 10" driver and NOT the new HL 10.  Sorry folks.

Under reviews, someone says they used a HL10, and liked it

I wounder how good it sounds with the recomended Emerance Beta 10" since the driver itself is only $70

Please direct me to these reviews.  These could be a worthwhile undertaking.

Also check out the "Still Wondering..." thread where we're developing bass horns for use with the HL-10. Also, I describe Bill Fitzmaurice's Tuba 24 subwoofer in greater detail based on conversations I've had with its designer, Bill.

I'm currently developing a compact HL10a horn, codenamed "Crusher". I am seeking to get a design that tries to hit the bullseye between efficiency and bandwidth. This sub will be built to be used in configurations of two or more per side and extend down to 50Hz (-5dB point) with a single enclosureper side before it begins to roll off, so you'll be able to get more extension by putting lots of horn mouths together. My other major goal in here is getting a small cabinet, like the Punisher horn on http://www.speakerstore.nl (though my design uses a different internal configuration.)
