anyone know what the character limitation/requirements are in the user setup? I can't seem to get past the "create an account" screen.

Just to let people know, I've been having success at creating accounts and logging in with 4 digit usernames and passwords i.e. 0000 for both.

This is great -- I just used a piano .mp3 file from a Sound Check CD when asked to load a file.

If you're on OS X, you need to fix the permissions on some folders & files. Do a "Get Info" (Comman-I) on the following folders.
1) The application folder, "Harman How To Listen".
2)/Library/Application Support/Harman International

Give "everyone" Read & Write permissions.

When you change permissions, select the "Apply to enclosed items..." under the little gear drop down.

Also, there appears to be a problem with uppercase & lowercase in usernames. Use all lowercase. When I did a mixed upper & lower case name, it always complained the password was incorrect. When I switched to all lowercase, the problem went away. This likely applies to both Macs & Windows.

I've been making my passwords "password". None of the data goes anywhere; the user and password are just to keep track of local data. I'm going to create different users for the different systems I run it on - earbuds, cans, home stereo, etc.

Also, I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about the quirks. It's beta software, I'm sure they'll have another release soon.
