The Audio Toolbox.  To bad they don't make them anymore.

I got my first one when the company was 2 weeks old.  One of the most useful items I have ever owned.

I still have that one (up graded to the black trim) and a larger metal one with the larger screen (nicer to look at).

A few little issues with batteries (mainly connections that are easily fixed), but otherwise VERY nice and I use it all the time for all sorts of different things.

Those are what I also would highly recommend to someone.
BUT, I have bought and sold enough gear that I really don't regret any of my current gear purchases and would recommend the same to anyone.
