The place in question is on JI. They changed the name, but if it walks/quacks/poops like a duck...

After lots of hand-wringing and complaints about $, the owner of the place decided to suck it up and pay me what I quoted for tomorrow night.

  Good for you!    It's too bad that some can't seem to learn this lesson, it would make it easier for everyone else to get their due wages.

I couldn't agree more. I'm all for competition, but when you cheap out on a job, you ruin that job for everyone who comes behind you.
