Many MANY of the PSW articles are reprints of magazines I believe. Being young, it is often the first time I've read them so that's OK, but I'm starting to notice repeat articles of things I've already read here.

The articles on PSW that are reprints of dead tree magazines come from the dead tree magazine division of EH Publishing, Live Sound International magazine. They are just 2 different outlets for the content they pay the writers for. This is hardly unique to this website. Every website I know of that is affiliated with a magazine shares content with that mag.

I believe they have the rights to the old RE/P magazine but don't literally have a copy of all the old editorial...

Some old stuff is worth reading again...  8) some not so much.  :P

So mail your old issues of RE/P to PO Box,,, ?  ;D

I'm not saying it was a bad thing. I was just commenting on the link of the Strip EQ article from 2002. More or less saying that reprints are nothing new and doesn't make the article any worse.

I feel as if I'm derailing this thread so please, go back to Jack bashing.

FWIW the Jack bashing is a reprint as well.  ::)

"Jack bashing" was secondary.  The primary plaint is the lack of the "comment" option available on the other articles.  Perhaps it is as simple as not taking comments on reprints over a certain age......

And thus the thread has come full circle.

What a perfect opportunity to lock a topic :-)
