The low, reach a new low
« on: May 30, 2011, 08:23:28 PM »

I wondered what the new "thing" would be to improve your sound-but I never thought about this

I noticed that they have been painting school busses (or is that buses) white on the top of the roof.  Does this make no difference too? :D

Poor lonely, deluded buggers....they need a real way to improve their sound.....like, cleaning the minute amount of dirt and grime off of their driver cones.....or, cleaning their CD disks ..... or,  ionizing their room's air for better driver to ear conduction..... or....getting back on their meds.

Painting the roof white won't improve the speed of the bus or it's sound...but, it will help with blocking it's heat absorbancy.  :P

I could be mistaken, but I get the sense they are joking around. At least I HOPE they are!

If they're not, I'm gonna start building my post-apocalyptic fallout shelter now.

Obviously it's why the forum is called an asylum - too many white coats have imprinted themselves on the poor residents!

A few may joke around, but a large number of people on there REALLY believe that the "things" they do to their systems make them better-adding the neg terminal of the battery to the ground (pos terminal not hooked up)-wrapping AC male prongs with teflon tape reduces the vibration-hanging crystals in breaker boxes and on wires, hanging extra wire off of the neg speaker wire- ------------

And the list goes on and on.

I wonder why so many manufacturers make gear so bad that it has to be improved like this?????

I followed that other thread a few turns down the rabbit hole till I found this gem, talking about a new 'clay' coating for his wires:

"It's only by blending ingredients inside the clay where microdetail can be preserved while changing the flavor."

Wow - I though it was a cooking forum.

"I'm an audiophile freak, and very much in love in music. I have been using hearing aids for few years now. The first hearing aids I used was Siemens Acuris. I wasn't happy about it since the sound was too loud and unnatural. Occlusions was also a big problem. I never really got used to it.

Then I bought Acuris Life, and VERY HAPPY with the technology. I have been enjoying my music ever since then. Now that my Acuris Life has served me well for 2 years, I'm looking to upgrade my hearing aids again.

Could Anybody suggest the greatest hearing aids in the world that may enhance my music enjoyment even more? Price is not a concerned at this point.

Thank you in advance,

  Hello,

It only proves that hearing aids aren't a cure for stupidity.
