I need to split a line level signal (output of mixer) to two different places.  Would the best choice be a mic splitter such as this..

http://www.audiopile.net/products/Electronics/MST-412_rack_splitter/MST-412_cutsheet.shtml

or some other option?  I'm not sure how a mic splitter would handle a line level signal.  Transformer iso would be a rather welcome feature.

When you say to two different places, you may be able to just daisy chain from one amp to another. Also, mixers sometimes have a "record out" and a "unbalanced/balanced out".

You may be able to just use the record out. Be careful to note if the microphone is also sent to "record out". The same can be said for a "booth out".

And to add to what Dave is saying here, I use a Rane sm26s, which can be had on Ebay for about $2-300, if you can find one. If not here's the link.

I saw that Rane unit, swiss army device fo sho!

@Tracy, FOH rack gets put away at the end of the night, so I'm looking for some thing a bit more straightfoward.  Other people using it might get confused w/ the hookup or use of a daisy chain system and or using multiple L&R outs.  If I was using it myself all the time, I'd just use the mono out of the Mixwiz.

We are now rethinking the situation.  We may just get a Zonepro or the Rane equivalent and go with that.
