Nice, and thanks for filling in the gig's gear.  I bet the choir felt (and Sounded) pretty professional. ;D

At least you got a chance to do rehearsals....the last Grad gig I did (a few years back) was a walk-in gig, all last minute.  Of course, no rehearsal, no mic check/line check and was handed a CD of the Commencement Song as a walked up to the already set-up Foh.

With 800 graduates, I was told that I'd have to keep playing the Commencement Song over and over until the last Student was seated.  Thank goodness there was some DJ type CD player, as I learned how to do  loops on the fly. :'(

Well, Congrats to all...I'm sure your audio was great!

  Cheers,
  Hammer

The "other" commencement I mentioned, with the orchestra... is a walk-on for them.  My check of the choir is their warm up on stage.  The orchestra tuning is my check for them.  The only sources that are definite are the lectern and name-reader microphones.

That gig has Imag, so the bottom of the PA has to clear the sight line of the top row of seats.  I put up 12 Meyer M2D, trimmed to 50' at the top box.  More supplemental fills, more sends, no subs for the orchestra, no dais monitors :(  Still, a good 2 days at work.

I did a gig for Otis Elevator once. Like every job, it had it's ups and downs.
