I've seen that WAY too many times.

1.Timothy 4, 12:
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Go for it! I was in your shoes at one time. Still am (18 here).
My best advice is three things.

1. Learn to use what you have to the best of your abilities.
2. Read the books of Timothy and James.

And Finally the most important one of all.

3. Keep your hands, eyes, and opinions to yourself.

I still have trouble with no.3...

It's great to see someone your age taking the initiative to make their worship service better.  Heck, it's great to see anyone take some initiative to make their worship service better.  Too often it's just easier to complain.

I agree with what's been recommended - I just wanted to commend you on your maturity.

Haven't been on in a while; thought I would update since this is a sticky.
Things are going good. I am on the board every Sunday and we have a new music minister. I'm still learning, and I'm about to start learning some video production stuff. He granted permission to use the church's Canon XL2 and install their copy of Final Cut Pro, because he is too busy with music/choir to work with video.
Needless to say I'm pretty excited. Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

Hey Zach!     Do you realize it's been exactly one year since you first posted?

If you're going to be doing video, you should check out the free After Effects tutorials by Andrew Kramer on videocopilot.com; They're exellent!

Also, go to churchmedia.net  >  community forums  >  browse community  >  video production.  It's pretty active, and I've learned a lot there.  Also, check out their audio forum while you're there.  You'll find me there under a fictitious name.
