New fixtures from ETC >>>> FRESNEL!
« on: April 07, 2011, 08:20:43 PM »

I just got an email from ETC showing a few new fixtures. The one that got me excited the most was a new Fresnel from them.  It uses the same HPL bulbs as the rest of the line, and looks like it moves the lens, as well as the bulb and reflector back and forth inside the fixture to change the beam spread.  Can't wait to check one out!

They also introduced the Source Four XT, an outdoor leko, and new LED par type fixtures.

Looking into the Fresnel a little further, it has a bottom opening door and a cool removable socket for the HPL bulb. No need to flip open the lens, you could easily replace the bulb from the bottom.

Not sure what took them so long, but the fresnel looks like a pretty awesome fixture.  The Desire LED fixtures look like the future of LED lights.

Simply awesome.
