Just wait until the UHF spectrum is deprecated for TV use and turned over to the highest bidders for who-knows-what.

We do know what: Public safety and ESMR (Enhanced Specialized Mobile Radio - Basically Nextel clones) services will be utilizing 746 - 806MHz. The real unknown is the possible use of available UHF TV channels 14 - 59 by the wireless ISP industry to provide broadband services on a large scale. With a multi-billion dollar IT industry and lobbying effort behind it, I fear entertainment use of that spectrum will be in big trouble in the coming years.

At our church we are using an EV RE-2 handheld system with the N/D767a head on it. cot it from our dealer for $410.  We've been very pleased with its performance.  All of our wired mics are also EV's.
