JT Man of The Woods Tour
« on: September 24, 2018, 12:59:11 PM »

Anyone have insight as to who's PA they're using for the Justin Timberlake Man of the Woods tour?

Saw JT at the new Fiserv arena in Milwaukee and I was really impressed by the tuning, coverage, and overall sound. It looked to me like it might have been Clair Brothers, but I'm not 100% certain.

Kudos to the system tech and FOH engineer - was a really enjoyable show. The LD deserves some accolades as well, and I shudder to think about the RF coordination that has to take place with all of the band... holy cats.

Come to think of it, the GBF on JT's hand held was ridiculous as well - crystal clear when he was talking to the audience, regardless of where he was standing in the stadium. I'm envious on all fronts. :-)

That part, I know - he uses an sE Electronics V7 MC1 capsule.  They are impressive mics, especially considering their MAP is the same as the "old standby".

Chris Stapleton is also a V7 user.

I've got four of the V7 handhelds and am looking forward to adding the V7 MC1 wireless capsules soon.

Thanks Dave! I'm going to check out the sE V7 MC1 for sure - just purchased one from my local dealer.

Attached is a photo of the array... as I look at it, I'm not 100% certain that it's Clair. I'm falling behind in my "catalog recognition skills."

Agreed, Cohesion for sure.

Also traditional Clair deployment of the main hang.
