What does dimmed tallies do?
What does the Audio Filter do ?
What does sidetone tracking actually do ?
Is the Headset limiter an audio limiter (compressor) or a max volume
Mic echo cancelation what does it do and does it work?
Does the out of range Alert actually work? how does a user know they are out of range?
Thanks again
Augie
Dimmed tallies is dimmed screen rather than blackout screen when timed out.
Audio filter will fill in lost audio packets with a copy of the last good packet. This eliminates the stuttering you get while walking or waving the BP around.
sidetone tracking - if you turn down the volume, your sidetone turns down.
Headset limiter is a bit of both setting is the threashold
If you are connected to another intercom system which leaks your own audio back giving a echo effect, echo cancellation will minimize that.
Out of range gives an audible and vibration alarm when you are...out of range. this must be turned on in alarms.
