Burt Reynolds has passed

One of my favorite actors is gone, Burt Reynolds. Many of the kids will remember Burt for his trucker movies, especially his "Smokey and the Bandit" series of films. I'll remember him for his many other films, many very serious in nature, and for my favorite, the original "Longest yard". Rest in piece Mr. Reynolds.

He was in two longest yard movies... not to mention the squirmworthy Deliverance.

Reportedly he fired his agent for getting him that movie.  :o

 He received some nominations and awards for it, but probably to make up for the lack of awards from his real body of work.

A not so great adaptation of a wonderful Carl Hiaasen book. You're right, Burt was great in that part.

he reportedly turned it down 7 times before taking it and almost got into physical fights with the director, lol. still, the film was really good. I think every actor in it should be proud of what they accomplished
