Locking castors

Disregard - looks like Penn-Elcom has 4" locking castors/casters for around $25/ea. Available at Parts-Express.

I'd like to get 4" wheels with full steel bearings in the axle and swivel. Just curious what everyone's using.
Darnell makes great casters in any configuration one could imagine, costly, but worth it.

Colson is good, too. I've got a bunch of the red ones ("Hi-tech", or some such) and so far so good. One problem I've found with cheap urethane casters is that they get flat spots when sitting, even for a short time. Then it's bump-bump-bump once you're on the move. Good ones don't do that. --Frank

PS: A castor is a beaver. Who knew?  :)

Colson Series 4 Maroon polyurethane tread with roller bearings are the standard for larger cases and speakers, the 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" w version for smaller cases/racks/speakers.

I've been using mostly the Penn-Elcom ones lately.  They have bearings and in the last few years I haven't noticed any flat spots.  I've got a lot of cases with Colsons too, but they aren't locking models.
